Turkish Daylights: Fruit trees

Oranges, lemons and pomegranates grow on trees. In my neighbourhood. On the corner of my street. On my way to work. Next to a wedding dress shop. Just about anywhere.

I still get excited whenever I see fruit, especially such exotic ones, just randomly hanging on trees that I pass. How come I have gotten used to the daily sight of palm trees but not fruit trees?
