Snickers here and there
The products we consume around the world may be the same. But they are not necessarily advertised in the same way. On my everyday wanderings I discovered the following Snickers advertisement that made me curious: Açken sen sen değilsin (You’re not you when you’re hungry).
I just watched both the Turkish (see here) and the German (and here) commercial and was amused and surprised by how much they resemble each other even though the way of transmitting the message is somewhat different. I guess hunger is a feeling we all can relate to in some way. This may explain the similarity in bringing across the message of needing a Snickers in order to not lose yourself.
What are your thoughts? How is Snickers advertised in your country, if at all? Do you have examples of other product advertisements as well?
