Berlin Festival of Lights 2014

22/10/2014

Every year in October, the city of Berlin hosts its famous Festival of Lights. Many sights, historic places, streets and popular districts are illuminated in all colours of the rainbow for the duration of ten nights. The festival exists since 2005 and has attracted many national and international visitors.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. To commemorate this historic event, this year’s festival of lights was particularly beautiful. The motto was Colours of Joy and from October 10th to 19th, Berlin was shining splendidly.
