aNadventures proudly presents a new series called “Turkish Daylights”. Every now and then I will post a picture capturing something related to Turkish everyday life.

Today, I would like to introduce you to this little friend:

Meet the şarjmatik who may be spotted at any street corner or at central bus stations and who is supposed to help you out when your phone runs out of battery and you forgot to bring your charging cable with you. Just find the fitting cable among the collection attached to the şarjmatik and plug in your phone. Once your battery is brought back to life you may continue your errants.
